As the influence of the faculty grew, the requirement for recognition became apparent. Government of india, Ministry of Communications approved Seacom Marine faculty to impart coaching and directions to students in Asian country. the faculty started intensive analysis and experiments for the event of Science & Technologies. To accelerate technological development , The Central Govt. additional approved Seacom Marine faculty to determine, maintain and work for the aim of analysis / experimentation, style / development at Kolkata and additionally for conjugation and maintenance of computing device primarily based equipments.


This college is an examination centre in eastern india for the award of General Operators Certificate (GMDSS) examination within the Maritime Mobile service and Certificate of Proficiency examination within the Radio telecommunication Restricted (Aeromobile service) conducted by Govt. of India, Ministry of Communications and director general of Shipping, Govt. of India and Second Mate function course and examination by board of directors General of Shipping, Mumbai.
